Oversize Charges

For most of our products, shipping is free. However, on some larger items there is an additional Home Delivery charge. These items must be delivered by a home delivery service and shipping charges are much higher than both common carriers and small package services.

Home Delivery Has Its Advantages

Although home delivery costs a little more, it does have several advantages:

  • The delivery company schedules an appointment with you, so you know exactly when your furniture will be delivered.
  • Oversize furniture tends to be heavy, so the delivery company will bring the furniture into your house, which means no heavy lifting for you.
  • Your new furniture will be unboxed and all packaging and materials will be hauled off.
  • You have a chance to inspect your furniture while the delivery company is still there. If there are any problems that cannot be fixed by the delivery crew, they can bring it back and we'll repair or replace the item.

How Much Are The Delivery Charges?

The first thing that you need to understand is that we charge oversize charges per order. So, if you order multiple oversize items, you'll only be charged an oversize fee once.

The Hemingway Wing Chair is amazingly flexible. It has all the characteristics of a great wing chair such as rolled, padded arms; arched wings and superior comfort. However, its full seat, tapered legs, and smaller size make it the perfect chair to use at the head of a dining room table, as an occasional chair or in any area where space is tight. The curvaceous design is accented by hand-applied nailhead trim surrounding the arms, seat, wings, and back. Custom made for you at an amazing price for such craftsmanship.

Construction Backed by a Lifetime Frame Warranty

We make chairs that last and we are so confident about them we offer a lifetime frame warranty. All frames are made from select hardwoods, 8/4" stock, kiln-dried. All frame parts are precision machined. For strength, all frames are double doweled and corner blocked with all joints glued and screwed together. The back post is made from one piece of solid wood. All of our chairs have four heavy gauge sinuous springs. Urethane foam, dacron wrap and other padding used is of the highest quality. Our tailoring is meticulously done by a team of expert upholsterers, all with the years of experience required to offer the best in appearance and quality.

Affordable Shipping and Fast Delivery

Due to massive demand due to COVID-19, average order time is around 12 to 16 weeks. If you need your order for a special occasion or by a certain date we will work with you to try and meet your needs. This item is considered oversized and will ship by a common carrier or home delivery service. When your order is complete, shipping generally takes between 1 and 14 days depending on your location.

What does ordering an oversized item mean for you? Shipping charges will be slightly higher than standard size chairs due to the fact that they are too large for package services such as FedEx and UPS. In addition you will also be called by our shipping company to set up a delivery appointment. Shipping charges can be computed in the shopping cart by selecting the state in which you live.
