All furniture sold by Carrington Court is hand made in our factory in Hickory, North Carolina. Hickory is the furniture capital of the United States. The vast majority of furniture sold in the US over the last 100 years was built in our little town.

Our location makes it easy to make some of the finest quality furniture available. We have a vast pool of cutters, sewers and upholsterers to draw from. Many of our employees have furniture in their blood. Several have grandparents and even great grandparents that worked in the industry.

There are many things that you have to assemble: toys, models and even gas grills. Should you really have to assemble your furniture? At Carrington Court we make furniture the way it has alway been made by hand. The art of making quality furniture has been refined over hundreds of years and we know of no better way to do it.

Why do some manufacturers make furniture that has to be assembled? The answer is easy: To save money. They don't have to pay labor charges and can save money on shipping by putting it in a flat box. The furniture that we make is hand made by upholsterers that have years of experience in their trade. When you order furniture from Carrington Court there are no complex construction diagrams, no packets of nuts and bolts and no fabric to attach. Just take it out of the box and you are ready to enjoy a quality dining experience.

The Somerset Dining Chair is an excellent example of true craftsmanship. Traditional styling includes a crescent back and tapered legs. What sets this design apart is a back in a contrasting fabric as well as the painstakingly applied nailhead trim. The nails outline the back and merge into a diamond pattern around the seat. Truly amazing quality at a price that cannot be beat!

Construction Backed by a Lifetime Frame Warranty

We make chairs that last and we are so confident about them we offer a lifetime frame warranty. All frames are made from select hardwoods, 8/4" stock, kiln-dried. All frame parts are precision machined. For strength, all frames are double doweled and corner blocked with all joints glued and screwed together. The back post is made from one piece of solid wood. All of our chairs have four heavy gauge sinuous springs. Urethane foam, dacron wrap and other padding used is of the highest quality. Our tailoring is meticulously done by a team of expert upholsterers, all with the years of experience required to offer the best in appearance and quality.

Affordable Shipping and Fast Delivery

Average chair production time is 3 weeks. Some oversize items may take as long as 5 weeks. If you need your order for a special occasion or by a certain date we will work with you to try and meet your needs. The shipping method varies depending on the size of item and the number of pieces ordered. Smaller items and single pieces are usually shipped via FedEx Home Delivery, while oversized pieces are shipped by common carrier or home delivery service. Items shipped by FedEx will take between 1 and 7 days for delivery (after production) depending on location. Oversize items will take slightly longer with delivery times usually 2 days to 2 weeks. If shipping time is a concern, please feel free to call us to discuss all available shipping options.
