Chair Construction

All our chair frames are made from select hardwoods, 8/4" stock, kiln-dried. All frame parts a precision machined. For strength, all chair frames are double doweled and corner blocked with all joints glued and screwed together. The back post is made from one piece of solid wood.

What does this mean to you? You get the best chairs that will last. We are so confident in the durability of our frames we offer a Life Time Frame Warranty. We have designed the frames specifically to resist a condition called racking. Racking occurs when joints in the frame come unglued. Once this happens the chair will wobble and eventually fall apart. With normal use, your chairs should never have this problem. They will stay perfectly solid for many, many years.

All of our parsons chairs, dining chairs and accent chairs have four heavy gauge sinuous springs. Urethane foam, dacron wrap and other padding used is of the highest quality. This will assure you long lasting comfort. Lower quality parsons chairs may not have springs. Springs offer comfort and support at the same time so you and your guests can enjoy dinner AND conversation.

Our tailoring is meticulously done by a team of expert upholsterers, all with the years of experience required to offer the best in appearance and quality. For our modern and contemporary chairs, the fabrics we offer are up-to-date colors and styles while utilizing the timeless designs of good taste to assure you of long-lasting use. We chose especially durable fabrics which will give good service for many years of normal use.

I looked for months in catalogs, furniture stores and on the web. I even ordered a few, only to send them back - none compared to yours.
