Shipping Times

All outlet items usually ship within 2 business days. Once your order has shipped, delivery occurs in 1 to 7 days depending on where you live. If you have a delivery deadline to meet, please contact us and we will be glad to assist you.

Shipping Charges

Shipping charges will be $0.00 per chair. Once you add a product to the cart, you will be given the option to select the state of delivery to see the shipping charges before you checkout. No taxes are charged except to deliveries within North Carolina.

Outlet Source

The "Outlet Source" is the reason why an item has been placed in Carrington Court's Outlet. There are 3 ways for a product to enter into the outlet:

Photo Sample

These items were made for a photography shoot for the Carrington Court website or an advertisement. They are unused and in new condition.
Discontinued Fabric

Occasionally when a fabric is discontinued by the fabric mill we have leftover yardage. We make chairs out of the remaining fabric so there is no waste. The benefit to you is that you get brand new, top quality chairs at a discounted price!
New In Box

Everything sold by Carrington Court is a custom order. We do not keep anything in stock. There are times when we get stuck with one of these orders. It can happen because of various reasons. The most common reasons are:

  • The customer changed the order after it had gone into production.
  • The order was canceled before it shipped out.
  • The customer was unable to pay for the order.

All "New In Box" items are unused and top quality with no defects. As with everything in the outlet they are covered by a lifetime frame warranty.

Outlet Warranty & Satisfaction Guarantee

Lifetime Frame Warranty

You can repair fabric, refinish legs and even fix dents and dings--if the frame is broken your chair is useless. We are so confident in our chair frames we offer a lifetime frame warranty. If the frame is damaged during normal use, we will replace or repair the chair for free. If a problem occurs, all you have to do is call us and we will take care of it at no cost to you.

Our fabric is warranted for one year against defective workmanship. This does not cover fading and is not valid where there is evidence of heavy soiling or abuse and where improper cleaning methods have been used.

What happens if your order is damaged during shipping? Don't even worry about it. Shipping damage is very rare, but if damage occurs we will replace or repair the damaged chair at no cost to you. We do ask that you inspect your chairs before throwing away the shipping boxes to avoid any delays if damage is found.

Satisfaction Guarantee

We want you to be happy with your purchase. All items in the Carrington Court Outlet are covered by an Unconditional Satisfaction Guarantee. That means that for any reason you may return an outlet item within 14 days of purchase and receive a full refund for that item. You will only be responsible for shipping charges both ways. Of course if there is damage or any flaws we will have the item(s) picked up, repaired and returned to you at no charge.

All furniture sold by Carrington Court is hand made in our factory in Hickory, North Carolina. Hickory is the furniture capital of the United States. The vast majority of furniture sold in the US over the last 100 years was built in our little town.

Our location makes it easy to make some of the finest quality furniture available. We have a vast pool of cutters, sewers and upholsterers to draw from. Many of our employees have furniture in their blood. Several have grandparents and even great grandparents that worked in the industry.

There are many things that you have to assemble: toys, models and even gas grills. Should you really have to assemble your furniture? At Carrington Court we make furniture the way it has alway been made by hand. The art of making quality furniture has been refined over hundreds of years and we know of no better way to do it.

Why do some manufacturers make furniture that has to be assembled? The answer is easy: To save money. They don't have to pay labor charges and can save money on shipping by putting it in a flat box. The furniture that we make is hand made by upholsterers that have years of experience in their trade. When you order furniture from Carrington Court there are no complex construction diagrams, no packets of nuts and bolts and no fabric to attach. Just take it out of the box and you are ready to enjoy a quality dining experience.

Product Description

Attention to detail turns the Fairfield Side Chair from a simple design to a remarkable piece of furniture. It has all the elements of a true classic: an ever so slightly curved back; generously padded full seat; finished, tapered legs; and hand-applied nailhead trim running around the back and seat. Suitable for the dining room or most any room. Also available is the Fairfield Host Chair, the perfect compliment to this side chair.
